There will be no clinics or consultations from December 20 to 31. Starting January 3 we will be again available for remote consultations and in-person clinic appointments.

We are taking a break for Thanksgiving, clinics and calls resume November 29.

SWIRC has started work with 4545 Architecture and the Detroit Collaborative Design Center on plans for our new home!

The renovation of our home on West Grand Blvd will take more than funds and physical labor, it’s going to take the help of the whole community of Detroit area residents who believe justice is for everyone.

This place will one day serve as our offices, program space and crisis housing for refugees and people seeking asylum.

We had an amazing Wednesday in Southwest Detroit this week: we saw 42 clients, a record number!
