Please Help Rosa and Her Children Escape an Abusive Partner

Rosa is an undocumented mother of six receiving immigration-related legal assistance from one of our partners concerned about her safety. From her earliest childhood, Rosa has overcome seemingly insurmountable obstacles and survived extreme abuse at the hands of caregivers and partners.

At the moment Rosa doesn’t have enough money for first and fast months rent on a new home away from her abuser.

SWIRC is one of several small organizations coming together to help Rosa and her children. Getting her a new start in a safe location away from her abuser’s influence will be an important next step.  We need to raise $2500 very quickly in order to help her find safety and the possibility of a better future.

We were founded in 2014 by Kevin Piecuch, our Executive Director and principal attorney, to help meet the great need for quality legal services in underserved communities.
