Donate to the Southwest Detroit Immigrant and Refugee Center
Everyone deserves a chance at justice, regardless of their nation of origin, their immigration status or their ability to afford traditional legal services. We serve those who are in the greatest need of legal help but have the least ability to secure it on their own.
Consider these support levels:
- A donation of $30 covers SWIRC's mailing cost for submission of client documents to USCIS
- A donation of $100 covers the cost of payment to the government for a new asylum case
- A donation of $550 covers the cost of payment to the government for a client's work permit fee
- A donation of $675 covers the cost of payment to the government to petition for a relative
- A donation of $1,000 helps cover the cost of representing a client at an asylum hearing
