We’re excited to announce that the Southwest Clinic will reopen June 24!
Expect the clinic to be a bit different as we are putting in place some important precautions to protect the health of our clients, volunteers, and staff.
Everyone visiting the Southwest Legal Clinic will be expected to cooperate fully with these procedures:
- You must make an appointment and enter the building only at the time of your appointment. There will be no waiting space in the lobby;
- You must complete a confidential health screening before you enter the clinic. The information in this screening is not recorded and is only used to assess your eligibility to come into the clinic;
- You must wear a mask that covers your mouth and nose at all times;
- Bring only the people immediately affected by the case (no children please) to minimize the number of people present in the clinic.
If you are not comfortable with any of these procedures or meeting with people in person yet for health reasons, we are still providing online consultations and would be happy to meet with you over video or phone call.
These are temporary precautions that we have taken based on the leadership of the Ford Fund and our desire to protect the health of the most vulnerable people in our community.
Make an appointment online!
You will be asked to complete a health screening when you make your appointment for an in-person consultation. If you cannot honestly say “no” to every question, please respect our team’s health and choose an online consultation instead.
